Trying So Hard

I am trying so hard to not complain. I'm also trying so hard to keep it together. I'm sick now, with a cold and cough. Not sleeping well anymore. I have NO energy - sometimes just standing makes me winded and my heart pound. The thought of holding on for another 3-4 weeks is almost more than I can bear. I am fully ready to be done. I just don't know how so many people do this all the time. I know it's mostly mental, but I guess I don't feel very strong mentally right now...

I totally understand!! I am 35 weeks with surro twins and I want them out, out, out! I want my body and life back. This last month has been the worst esp. with the holidays. I have a friend that is just starting journey #2 and I think she is batshit crazy!
I guess I'm not feeling mentally strong right now either, but it's really freaking hard to be pregnant with twins!

I get it! When I was preggo with my twins it was ROUGH at the end. You are doing such a great job! IT will be over in a flash and you will get your body back to its self.

I think drinking fresh-pressed vegetable juices every morning helped me to keep my energy at a reasonable level. However, I did take a nap almost every day and I did get winded after about 10 minutes of grocery shopping or even just standing to do the dishes (10 minutes).

Hang in there! It will be over soon and you'll be planning your NEXT journey! :-)

And BTW, get rid of the cough ASAP! Coughing after a c-section is TERRIBLY PAINFUL! I coughed a few times when I got a little tickle in my throat. Eek!

You are doing so well and you're almost there! Eyes on the Prize . . . Babies for your IPs!

and MrsKnight has a great point- get rid of that cough asap and don't be afraid to ask for medicine if you still have it when you're hospitalized.

Vanessa, Carrying twins is the most horrible thing I have ever done to my body... you are a trooper and are doing great. You will be there before you know it, and then your crazy post partum hormones will make you wish it wasn't over. Just rest, rest, rest.
